Alkhidmat Foundation has provided small tractors to 31 farmers in Ghizer district of Gilgit-Baltistan whose land was affected by flooding, Greenpost reported.

The report said the distribution was intended to help the farmers restore cultivation on flood-damaged land. It did not include details such as the date of the handover, the cost of the machines, or how the recipients were selected.

Ghizer, a mountainous district in the west of Gilgit-Baltistan, has been hit by flash floods and landslides during recent monsoon seasons, disrupting roads and farmland. Small tractors are commonly used on terraced fields in the region, where larger machinery cannot operate.

Alkhidmat Foundation is one of Pakistan's largest charity organizations and often runs relief operations after floods and other disasters.
