Bugti says Balochistan governance now built on merit, transparency
Chief minister says youth will get opportunities as the province pushes back on what he calls an insurgency narrative.

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the foundations of good governance have been laid in the province, with a system built on merit, transparency, accountability and opportunities for young people.
The chief minister made the remarks in a statement carried by the state-run Associated Press of Pakistan on Thursday. The report gave no further details of where or when the statement was made.
The headline of the APP report said Bugti also rejected what it called an insurgency narrative in Balochistan, but the text provided only the single sentence on governance reforms. No additional quotes or context were available.
