Governor Mandokhail urges Gwadar, Turbat universities to align with blue economy
Speaking at Governor House Quetta, he said students must feel their talent and future are valued in Balochistan.

Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has called on public-sector universities, especially those in Gwadar and Turbat, to align their academic programmes with the blue economy, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported.
Speaking at the Governor House in Quetta, the governor said real success for the province would come only when students of public-sector universities felt that their talent, knowledge and future were valued within their own homeland.
He said Balochistan was working to ensure that young people not only secured a better future for themselves but also contributed meaningfully to the progress of the nation.
According to the report, the governor urged the universities in the two southern districts to prepare students for emerging opportunities in the blue economy. The term broadly refers to the sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth, and Gwadar's deep-sea port remains central to Pakistan's plans in that area.
The remarks were made at the Governor House in Quetta, APP said. No further details of the event were immediately released.
