Jeddah consulate starts online booking for NADRA, passport services
Pakistan's mission in the Saudi city says applicants can schedule NADRA and passport appointments before visiting, The Express Tribune reported.
Pakistan's consulate in Jeddah has introduced an online appointment system for National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and passport services, according to The Express Tribune.
The report said applicants can now schedule a visit to the mission in advance. It did not give the address of the online portal, the date the system became operational, or whether walk-in applicants will still be served. The newspaper also did not name any consular official in its report.
The Jeddah mission handles identity document and passport work for a large Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia. Long waiting times at overseas Pakistani missions have been a frequent complaint among workers and families abroad.
Skardu Times could not independently confirm the announcement from the consulate. A copy of the report was not immediately available on the mission's website.
