Nadia Khan criticised over questions about designer's gym clothes
The interview focused on Parishay Adnan's personal life instead of her New York Fashion Week showcase, drawing backlash from viewers and colleagues.

Television host Nadia Khan is facing criticism from viewers and fellow entertainers after an interview with fashion designer Parishay Adnan focused on the designer's gym wear and personal life rather than her recent showcase at New York Fashion Week.
Adnan, chief executive of the Aamir Adnan brand, presented her sustainable fashion collection Second Skin at the Flying Solo showcase during New York Fashion Week, an appearance widely reported as international recognition for Pakistan.
During the interview, Khan asked whether Adnan's parents approved of her relatively bold gym collection and whether they were upset by fitness videos she posts on social media. The question drew visible embarrassment from Adnan, Aaj News reported. Express News reported that Adnan expressed displeasure after returning from representing Pakistani culture globally and called the questions about gym clothes and fitness reels wrong.
Adnan answered with composure, saying she has always had full support from her parents. She said messages from women who say her fitness journey encourages them to go to the gym mean the most to her. She said a person is a combination of many facets and cannot be judged by one thing, described herself as a rebellious child and a very religious person, and said personal boundaries differ from person to person.
After the interview, social media users called the questions unnecessary and off-target. Actor and host Mishi Khan sharply criticised Nadia Khan and advised her to improve her content instead of embarrassing guests, Aaj News reported. Actor Yasir Hussain also criticised the choice of topics, Express News reported. Adnan's mother Huma Adnan called the questions unnecessary, and Adnan shared portions of the interview on social media.
The episode has revived debate about whether morning shows should highlight guests' professional achievements instead of their personal lives and clothing.
