Ogra raises LPG price by Rs14.73 per kg for November
A domestic cylinder will cost Rs3,470.09 from 1 November, Rs173.86 more than October's Rs3,296.23, under the regulator's notification.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has raised the price of liquefied petroleum gas by Rs14.73 per kilogram for November, according to the regulator's notification, adding Rs173.86 to the cost of a domestic cylinder.
A domestic LPG cylinder will cost Rs3,470.09 from 1 November, against Rs3,296.23 in October. The increase works out at a little over 5 percent on the cylinder.
Aaj News reported the notification and the two figures, and UrduPoint carried the same per-kilogram and per-cylinder increases. Both outlets reported that the new rates apply across the country.
Neither report set out a reason given by Ogra or the petroleum division for the increase, and the notification as reported did not break down the components of the new price.
LPG prices are notified every month, and the November rates follow October's level of Rs3,296.23 for a domestic cylinder.
Ogra issued the notification in the last week of October, ahead of the 1 November start date. The reported figures cover the domestic cylinder sold to households; the outlets did not give the commercial cylinder price in the material available.
Households buying a cylinder will pay Rs173.86 more than they did in October, with the change taking effect from the first day of the month.
