Pakistani esports team 4Thrives Walee to play at Asian Games
The Walee-owned squad won the PUBG MOBILE Global Open 2026 in Jakarta and will now carry Pakistan's flag at the continental games.

Esports organisation 4Thrives Walee will represent Pakistan at the Asian Games, its parent company Walee has said, giving the country a team that this year became the first Pakistani side to win a global PUBG MOBILE title.
The qualification follows a run that included victory at the PUBG MOBILE Global Open 2026 Season 1 in Jakarta, a sixth-place finish at the PUBG MOBILE World Cup 2026 in Paris and a win at PMGO SA in Nepal, ProPakistani reported.
Walee, a Pakistani technology and media company that brought 4Thrives into its ecosystem in 2026, said the Asian Games appearance is an extension of its investment in Pakistani talent. The move brought a proven Pakistani esports team into a Pakistani technology and media company, combining competitive gaming with content, audiences, creators and commercial opportunities.
"We believe Pakistan has exceptional talent across sports, entertainment, technology and gaming. Our role is to create the platforms and opportunities that allow that talent to compete, grow and be recognised globally," Walee representatives said in a statement carried by ProPakistani. "Seeing our own team represent Pakistan at the Asian Games is a proud moment for everyone at Walee, and we hope it inspires the next generation of Pakistani gamers to believe that the world stage is within their reach."
The company said it is investing in player infrastructure, including professional management, competitive opportunities, content, media, community and brand partnerships, to help Pakistani players move from local discovery to consistent international competition.
ProPakistani also noted that PUBG MOBILE esports in Pakistan is entering one of its biggest moments, with attention now on whether 4Thrives Walee can defend its global crown at home. As the team prepares for the Asian Games, the report said, it will carry the hopes of Pakistan's esports community onto an international stage.
