Pakistani Hajj Pilgrims to Submit Medical Certificates Online
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and NITB say pilgrims can upload PMDC-verified fitness forms through the Pak Hajj portal and app.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has moved the medical fitness certificate for Hajj 2027 online, working with the National Information Technology Board (NITB) to allow intending Pakistani pilgrims to submit the mandatory document through the Pak Hajj app and portal, according to ARY News.
According to the ministry, the new digital system requires a pilgrim to begin by downloading the prescribed medical form from the Hajj Management System. The form must then be filled in and verified by a doctor who is registered with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. Once the doctor has completed and signed it, the pilgrim uploads the certificate back into the same online system, where it becomes part of the application record.
The procedure for Pakistani nationals living abroad is different. They must have the medical form completed and verified by a doctor practising in their country of residence. The completed document is uploaded under the Overseas Category of the online system, the ministry said.
Submission of the medical fitness certificate is not a formality that can be skipped. Saudi Arabia requires the certificate from every pilgrim travelling for Hajj, and the ministry says the online route is now the way to meet that requirement. The change is intended to streamline the certification process and cut down on paper handling, officials said.
Officials have advised intending pilgrims to complete the medical documentation and all other online formalities in advance of the registration and preparation deadlines. They have also asked pilgrims to download and use the Pak Hajj app, which provides access to the relevant services and allows Hajj-related requirements to be completed digitally. The app and portal are the official channels for Hajj-related services.
The ministry did not say when the online certificate submission window would close. The announcement comes as preparations for Hajj 2027 get under way across Pakistan.
