The left-handed opener made 127 off 99 balls, with 11 fours and six sixes, in the final against Sri Lanka at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, an innings that helped Pakistan win the title. It was his first ODI century in three years; the previous one was an unbeaten 126 against New Zealand at the 2023 World Cup.

India's Shubman Gill leads the batting rankings with 841 points, ahead of New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell and India's Virat Kohli.
Rashid Khan's lead in the bowling table is unchanged, with Maharaj behind him and Abrar third-placed before this update and now fourth. Shaheen's move up one place came at the expense of the bowler directly above him, though the report did not name who dropped.
