SIFC launches centralised ticketing hub for investor queries

The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has launched a centralised digital ticketing hub to accelerate the handling of investor queries, requests and follow-ups, the council said in a statement.

The platform gives investors a structured channel to raise questions, submit requests and track their progress, and it brings different stages of investment facilitation into one coordinated system. SIFC said the system supports systematic processing and monitoring from the start of a request through later stages of engagement, improving case tracking and visibility. The hub is intended to make investor concerns more visible and follow-up more responsive, the council said. ProPakistani reported the move shifts investor support to a fully digital system, while Arab News described the platform as a one-stop investor portal.

In its statement, SIFC said the hub provides a clear workflow so investor concerns are communicated and followed up through relevant channels. It added that the platform gives investors a convenient way to remain informed about the progress of their submitted requests.

Business Recorder reported that SIFC Secretary Jamil Qureshi told the National Assembly Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Division a day earlier that the council had developed an investment pipeline of roughly $40 billion across sectors including industry, oil and gas, railways, roads, power, telecom, IT, pharmaceuticals, tourism and agriculture. Qureshi said the pipeline was developed across key sectors as part of efforts to bring foreign investment into the country.

The committee termed the $60 billion export target for 2030 unrealistic, citing high gas and electricity prices, tight monetary policy and high taxation, the newspaper said. Qureshi also said the prime minister had directed that stalled and delayed projects involving the United Arab Emirates and other countries be actively pursued and brought to implementation through enhanced coordination and facilitation. The briefing took place a day before the platform launch, Business Recorder reported.

The council did not say how many investors had used the platform or give a timeline for its full rollout, according to Business Recorder.
