WorldCall Telecom restored to normal PSX counter
The NCCPL restored the telecom company's shares to the Normal Counter effective September 23, making them eligible again for margin financing and securities lending.

Worldcall Telecom Limited (PSX: WTL) has been restored to the Pakistan Stock Exchange’s Normal Counter, the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) announced on Wednesday. The change is effective September 23, 2026.
The telecom company had been moved to the Non-Compliant Segment effective September 16, according to ProPakistani, which also reported the restoration. NCCPL said WorldCall shares are now again eligible for the Margin Financing System and Securities Lending and Borrowing (SLB-B) systems.
The earlier suspension came after the stock exchange placed WorldCall in the Non-Compliant Segment. NCCPL at the time excluded WTL securities from both margin financing and SLB-B.
TechJuice reported that WorldCall was previously placed in the Non-Compliant Segment in December 2025 over non-payment of an additional listing fee linked to an increase in its paid-up capital.
Geo News also carried the development in its September 22 bulletin but provided no further details.
The restoration means investors can again use WorldCall shares as collateral under the margin financing mechanism and borrow or lend those securities through the SLB-B window. The Normal Counter is where compliant listed companies trade; the Non-Compliant Segment typically applies to companies that fail to meet listing or fee requirements.
NCCPL has not issued a separate statement beyond the notification cited by the outlets. The stock exchange has not yet commented.
