Abrar Ahmed becomes world No.1 T20I bowler
Pakistan leg-spinner overtakes Afghanistan's Rashid Khan by one rating point to become fifth Pakistani to top ICC T20I bowling rankings.

The International Cricket Council's latest men's T20I bowling rankings have placed Pakistan leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed at number one for the first time, according to Express News. Ahmed is the fifth Pakistan bowler to top the T20I bowling table, the report said.
He overtook Afghanistan's Rashid Khan by a margin of a single rating point. Khan, who had held the top position for the previous six months, slipped to second place, one point behind the Pakistani spinner.
Before Ahmed, Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal, Imad Wasim and Shahid Afridi had all been ranked number one in T20I bowling for Pakistan. Ahmed joins that group after the latest rankings update.
Elsewhere in the bowling rankings, Pakistan's Mohammad Nawaz is placed eighth. Salman Mirza dropped one position to 19th. England's Jamie Overton made a notable climb of 47 places to reach a career-best sixth spot.
In the T20I batting rankings, Sahibzada Farhan remains Pakistan's highest-ranked batter at number three, but no other Pakistan batter appears in the top 20. England captain Harry Brook moved up to a career-best fourth after a successful home series against Sri Lanka. Jos Buttler, who scored 172 runs in that series, is fifth, one place behind Brook.
In the ODI rankings, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza rose five places to 24th.
