Tarar accuses KP government of evading law and order duty
Information Minister Attaullah Tarar says the province is facilitating terrorists and has adopted an evasive policy toward security.

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Friday accused the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government of deliberately evading its constitutional responsibility to maintain law and order in the province.
The state-run Associated Press of Pakistan reported that Tarar used the phrase "deliberately evading" while criticizing the provincial government's handling of security. The minister's remarks were made on Friday, according to the agency.
The Express Tribune reported that Tarar went further, describing what he called a "political, terror crime nexus" in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The minister said the provincial government was "facilitating" terrorists and had adopted an "evasive policy" toward the law and order situation, the newspaper reported.
The two reports did not include any response from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to the federal minister's claims.
