Pakistan's under-19 cricket team beat India by three wickets in the final of the ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2026 at the Al-Amerat Cricket Ground in Muscat, Oman, reaching a target of 209 after the chase had fallen to 65 for 5.

The result gave Pakistan their second consecutive Asia Cup crown at under-19 level. ARY News, which reported the match, described India as the defending champions.

Hamza Zahoor finished unbeaten on 100 from 108 balls, with 10 fours and three sixes. He came in with five wickets down for 65 and stayed to the end of the innings.

He and Hasnain Abbas Dar put on 107 runs for the sixth wicket, a stand ARY News credited with changing the match.

Ali Raza, Rizwanullah and Niqab Shafiq had earlier bowled what ARY News called controlled spells, holding India to a modest total that left Pakistan needing 209 to win.

Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi said he was proud of the team's fearless approach and congratulated the players on the win.

Babar Azam, who captains Pakistan in red-ball cricket, posted messages on his social media accounts praising the young players.

ARY News reported that senior government officials and well-known public figures also posted praise for the side soon after the result, and that former international captains and commentators joined the tributes.

The same report described the team's composure in a high-pressure final as a good sign for Pakistan cricket.
